great cyclops of fire you who keeps the horizon far out of my reach no closer than yesterday not nearer me tomorrow a symbol of hope I find no truth in those words you leave me each night drowning yourself in the sea leaving me cold and alone in chill of darkness no refuge from my despair shadows cling to me abandoned, my hope is dead don't shine on me in the morn'

I no longer live under the shadows of discontent, WW, once I allowed the sun to shine on me, hope was renewed. A little early to shed the Winter of discontent, but I'm ready for it. Love your humor. Thanks for a charming comment.

The shell of dark that surrounds the author’s words acts as a cocoon protecting the writer from the words. Full of emotion that rips into both mind and heart and leaves its mark. Good work. Emile. #7
