Shadows

What do shadows of the night say
On the cobblestones of a waning moonlight?
A quiet touch, no one hears
A peaceful cry, still no tears.
Her body floats amidst each rock and road
Seeking secret places to abode
And to no avail can one break the magic code
Sealed in silence, encrypted in darkness
Leaving traces of gold
No one sees upon each rocky road.
