Shadow in the penumbra

She moves catlike
her ebony braid
swishing majestic
in pearly moonlight
and vaporous penumbra.
Raising a chalice
jade and bejewelled
the lithe shadow
samples golden droplets
of honeyed wine
anointed silently
at a feast
of grace.
