Shadow Figures

Silhouetted forms upon the wall
Sun makes shadows for all to see
Alas, there is a dog and a bird
Oh, and that one there, yep, that is me

Silly shadows, we all have made
Entertainment for the few
I know many who make these figures
I am one, how ‘bout you?

I sit and often make these figures
Laughing, thinking they look good
Truth be told, they’re not resembling
All the things I say they should.
