Shadow

the shadows know my every move
              imitating life as I live it
my shadow mocks my figure and never gives the true picture it's
              sometimes long and some times short
the shadow is my closest companion
                 closer than a loyal Rover
Shadow does not like cloudy days
                he stays at home and watches TV
The son and shadow have an agreement
                light in lines and reflected visuals leaves shadow a negative space.

I'm with your Mom; the long thin shadows make me feel better. As for my sister, she just looks down on the rest of our family.
