I find myself in a lush forest
dripping wet with steamy sultry life, and
I am one with nature and with the green drifting water . . .
oh, the soft moss and the wet lime ferns caress me
and I float in tranquility where beneath me reeds are swaying
in the many hues of green
like juniper, sage, olive and pine . . .
see the emerald of a little frog- the brown of a crocodile
the yellow little fish that kiss my toes
that lovely red flower- careful of the orange snake slithering
a fluttering purple butterfly- a blue bird singing sweetly
and twining vines meandering in the dripping foliage . . .
my sage eyes whisper- come fall into the lush with me
I will take you to a world of utter peace
where all shades of green mingle and entwine
but beware, for I am not of this world anymore . . .
