Keith Bickerstaffe Poet Verse

Shades

the order of the iambic pentameter,
the chaos of the totally unmetrical,
the logical conception of a piece by Bach,
the frenzied wailing of the latter John Coltrane,
the predictability of the sonnet form,
the convoluted voices of free verse,
the yin the yang, the shade the sheen,
and all the vibrant shades that lie between!

Yoni Dvorkis January 13, 2009 at 8:53 PM I think it's the Artist's role to define how he wants to balance these two very powerful forces. Even Coltrane had to play melodies every now and then. Even Bach wrote near chaotic fugues like the one in D Minor. I like commenting on your work Kieth:)
