Seven Heavens Steps
A traveler stands at the foot of the stair,
With earthly dust and a heart full of prayer.
The first step, a stone of awakening light,
To see the world in a new, holy sight.
The second step calls for a silence so deep,
Where secrets the soul has long wanted to keep,
Are whispered away in a cleansing release,
A gift of forgiveness, a newfound peace.
The third is a trial, a test of the soul,
To master the self and to make oneself whole.
To break all the chains that have bound and have kept,
The promise of freedom where shadows have slept.
The fourth step is built on a kindness so true,
To offer a hand to the many, not few.
A selfless compassion that knows no design,
A pure, flowing love, a true grace so divine.
The fifth is the climb to a wisdom so grand,
To grasp all the truths that the heart can command.
To see past the veil, the illusion, the fog,
And find the clear path in the mystical log.
The sixth step is faith, a surrender so vast,
To trust in the future, let go of the past.
To float on the currents of cosmic design,
And know that the universe's purpose is thine.
The final step, the last, and the highest of all,
The one that will answer eternity's call.
No longer a body, a soul, or a mind,
But part of the whole, to the heavens aligned.
