Service-Commitment
Service-commitment, indeed challenging
Truly rewarding since it’s life-giving
Discouraging difficulty- complaints
Midst prayer-ardor for strength’s receiving.
Service-commitment overcomes grumbles
In yielding to God heart that humbles
Gratefully praising Him while worshipful
Gladly lifting up someone who stumbles.
Service-commitment is good attitude
Exposing a Christian’s faith-altitude
In loving Jesus while loving others
With kindness*, truth and mercy’s fortitude.
*Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering.
