Seven Servants of Hate

Behind heavens beauty, there sometimes lies the serpent of hate
What pleases the eye, sometimes may poison the heart
Beware the servant who entices with the rose
And strikes with the thorn
Love disguised
Uncovered
Hate

I have no roses to offer but I do know where we can get a good cup of coffee. There are always someone hiding and lurking in the shadows trying to steal our soul. It is best to look them straight in the eye for it is then they shall flee.

Some are easily take in by the rose, dear. Who doesn't want to be loved and appreciated, but unfortunately...the thorn makes one want to never seek love again.

This is a magnificent write Arthur! I am impressed by your incredible skill at writing such a tremendous poem, not only did you write a grandiose piece, you have written one that made me think about the evil of this world! I just hope that the heavens will shine brighter than the serpent, and that it will slither away in fear of the amazing light! I thoroughly enjoyed your astounding poem here this evening! Great Work!!
