Serenity In Afternoon Love

We met
and talked
coffee after coffee
he was very masculine
said, I was beautiful
our hands touched and caressed
later, we pulled the curtains closed
our lips touching
our hands exploring skin
finding serenity
in afternoon love

Congrats on your win, Constance, I like the simplicity of your poem. Reminds me of the song "Afternoon Delight." John

John, thanks for the congrats, it seems to remind people of songs and movies, but it is all me from a distant sweet memory ~
