Serenity Awakened
Summer’s sizzle
Eventually begins to expire.
Revelries of the raspberry-seasoned days I’ve respired soon will be
Eclipsed by
Nuances of a new serenity.
Impinging on August’s lethargy-inducing ways and
Tip-toeing in, wearing her
Youthful still-green garb . . .
Autumn elegantly enters!
Wandering wistfully from September into October, she
Awakens nostalgia in me!
Kaleidoscope colors
Embroidery trees brightly as
Nature surrenders so beautifully to
Ebbing embers of sunbeams which paint ever-hastening twilight splendors -
Disappearing at last into the calm gray of the first snow-FALL.
