Serenity

Serenity finds me,
as it so few does
when caught up in the busy
nonstop, always on the go
crazy schedule.

serenity found in nature,
separated from the “real world”
which most of us know leads to a world of stress and tiredness.

Serenity; calm

Sends that breath of fresh air right through you,
reminding us
it’s nice to forget about
the technology we come to rely on,
and schedules planned for every minute of the day.

Serenity,
sounds of rushing waves along the shoreline.

Tranquility;
sweet sounds of loons distant on the lake,
calming are the rustling of the forests’ trees
calling in the North wind.

Surrender to serenity, and you’ll see.

I agree, loons on the lake are the true sounds of tranquility. Nice write. ~KC~
