SEQUENCE


Thirsty
dryness cracks
seek cloudless shade.
The lips of river’s banks
unlicked.

Deluge
clotting dust
choking relief’s
anticipated joy
mud slide.

Barbara Gorelick November 9, 2014 at 2:37 PM An original take ! good work. It was just pointed out to me that this contest was supposed to be about holidays. Mine was not..had to remove it..It seems most people have missed the theme..?/ something in the air? lol. BG
