Colour Lights the sky Sparkling flashes Noise of firework display - Guy Fawkes* Beneath House of Lords - Gunpowder plot Failed to assassinate King James * failed in an attempt to kill the king and restore a catholic monarch to the throne of UK. Nov 5th is bonfire night where an effigy ( a guy) is burnt in every town and most houses. Children ask for a penny for the guy, night enjoyed by all.

Are you familiar with the movie V for Vendata. It was originally a comic book series of twelve books written by Allen Moore. He uses the Guy Fawkes theme heavily in the collection. Excellent write on your part Seren, me thinkets another winner.
