Sequence-Winter Reflections

Raw stillness bites my soul, retrospects of old flood my mind- memory freezes passion cold

This speaks of so many things, .... as a year comes to an end, we reflect on the scene around us, memories seem more powerful upon the winter landscape. Wonderful poem! A favorite for my selected poems! Merry Christmas, Brian! ~ Love, Carrie

I can see a scene of frozen desolation and white snow and ice covering everything from these words that you have penned. When alone and a memory that is not pleasant comes upon us. Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for stopping by and answering my question on my poem. Greatly appreciated. Sara
