September Sighs

September Sighs
A coolness chilling her heart
Her touch faintly feeble
A darkness creeping closer
Color draining from her cheeks
An icy distance in her eyes

Love the personification. is this really what September means to you as memory, John? Had my contest been on descriptions of September, this would have gotten even a higher score! Congrats.

Sad portrait of September. In Malta it is hot and humid but necessary for the production of Maltese wines.
