September Light
Early light- sea blue
tints-traces the olive pines
as the sun rises.
Buttercup yellow
needles carpet the subtle
hills under the tree.
Sparrows wings flutter
through the Autumn leaves. Pumpkin
colored berries.
A sugar soft breeze
stirs the scents of cut wood, dirt.
Two grey-umber hawks.
