September falls
Shifting seasons delight, most of all, fall,
Enchanting heart as green leaves turn to rust,
Poised gracefully atop trees standing tall,
Till they drop to the ground, adorning dust.
Equinox at autumn balances light,
Morning glory and aster usher hope,
Bestowing boons of grace, bringing delight,
Encouraging souls with love to elope.
Radiant lustre of the harvest moon,
Frees our soul from the shackles of desire,
Animating the void, wherein we swoon,
Lifted straight to heaven by rapture’s fire.
Learning acceptance, now loving and kind,
Soul plays out its life role, as God assigned.
