Sentimental Song

"The love between a mother and daughter is like nothing else in the world. It has no rules, it dares all things and crushes all that stand in its way, and cannot be destroyed, even by death." Quote by - Constance The old song I'll Be Seeing You . . . Oh, Mom loved this sentimental song so blue; I played it for her- the day to Heaven she flew, she used to sing it all the time ! I find the words really sublime . . . and each sad lyric true- and makes my heart chime; now, I too will embrace the words for my lifetime, Often, I see my Mom in odd places ! There she is among the faces . . . at a park walking- and my heart races; and in my mind that song and memory laces, I see my Mom in each new morn ! She is with me as the moon is born . . . and the song- that song should be now timeworn; but, I find it beautiful and comforting as I mourn, with the words of I'll Be Seeing You ! _______________________ July 15, 2022 Poetry/Rhyme/Sentimental Song Copyright Protected, ID 07-1474-042-15 All Rights Reserved, 2022, Constance La France Theme chosen - #3 Sentimental Song Written for the Standard contest, One in Five 2 sponsor, Joseph May, Judged 07/30/2022 First Place

What a beautiful song followed by such a heartfelt story of Poetry Constance, involving your Dear Mother and the seeing her in the morn and all the wonderful reminders of her. That special song to always be reminded of her and her love for you. My mother Anais hid a letter to her three sons. When she past we found it. I wrote a Narrative about the whole incident of what she did, titled A Special Poem Carta Des Anais A Sus Tres Hijos. Translated A letter from Anais for her three son's.

This beautiful Poem reminds me of that letter. My mom wrote in the letter that on a sunny day when we see a beautiful cloud, it is her looking down on us. She says in the letter to never forget that. My mom spoke three languages English, French, and Spanish and she was a gifted writer. She once was selected to go to Spain and write a poem for a one of the wealthiest families in Spain. When she wrote the poem the family had a statue made out of bronze of this woman and my moms Poetry was inscribed in it. The whole tribute to this woman cost them close to fifty thousand dollars, and this was back in the mid seventies. Thank you for posting Constance and God bless you...
