Sensitive Ears

Our mouths at times have quite a bad habit Getting us in a whole bunch of do-do Forgetting that sensitive ears can sometimes Unintentionally be hurt, so true We must always be cognisant of other's feelings Those things that make people hurt Insensitivity can lead to misunderstanding Making others your friendship to avert Our hearts are really quite delicate at times We must always be mindful of this When in doubt we best say nothing at all Being hurtful is never our wish Not only will someone feel more at ease What I've realized over the years You'll also feel more at peace with yourself Not bruising someone's sensitive ears © Jack Ellison 2013

Love how you always give us such wisdom. 75 years from someone so loving... Should cause every reader to not only have sensitive ears but realize your fatherly advise and adhere :-) Love you so XOXOX

Dragon is a bit blunt so is always in trouble with some one... But he IS a baby Dragon... and is working on it... For the Live Nativity he now has the penguins covered with snow... Just their eyes and beaks aren't covered... They suddenly jump up and sing 'Frosty The Snowman' and then hand out candy canes to everyone... young and old... since we are all young at heart... The kids are enjoying this immensely... You might say they are gobbling this up!... LOL ... What's next Dragon?

No matter what people say I believe we all have sensitive ears to some degree! Just that some people don't express their feelings about what they hear! I'm a sensitive man so words can sting me, but I'm not overly sensitive where every little thing is going to get to me! I'm sure you understand my friend! I truly loved reading this enlightening poem this morning! What a brilliant piece, Great Work!!
