Senses
Our eyes tell a story
In everything we see,
Images and pictures
Stored in our memory.
Our ears hear music
And nature's divine power,
Voices of friends and family,
The clock chiming in each hour.
Our noses take in scents,
Flower's perfume, salty sea,
The first cut of grass
And freshly ground coffee.
Our tongues taste our food
Whether savoury or sweet,
Creamy, nutty chocolate
Or Sundays roasted meat.
Our skin feels the touch,
A warm hug or bear squeeze,
The tickle of our lovers hands
Or a slight summer breeze.
Our sixth sense is intuition,
A feeling from within,
The angel on our shoulder
The eternal voice therein.
So use all your senses,
Let them all collide,
Explore our wondrous world,
Let them be your guide.
