Sensational Spring
A beautiful pastoral scene,
trees adorned in emerald green
Lambs bounce around gaily in spring,
and tiny fledglings take to wing
Blossom drifts down from cherry trees,
‘pink confetti’ swirls on the breeze
I pick bunches of daffodils,
their trumpets have such fancy frills
Weeks of renewal and rebirth -
my favourite season on earth
