Author's Notes:  "Sending Waves Touching Beautiful Always" is a co-write / co-authored poem by Gary Bateman and Liam McDaid.  Our purpose with this poem is actually quite simple and special.  We wrote this free verse poem in honor of a PoetrySoup friend and colleague, Anne-Lise Andresen, for all of her fine poetry contributions and for her continued professional support and encouragement of other fellow poets in the PoetrySoup family.  We wanted to let Anne-Lise know that all she does in this regard is much appreciated by the both of us, as we are sure it is equally appreciated by many of our fellow poets and colleagues in PoetrySoup who have had the same fun and privilege of professionally associating with her too.  (Gary Bateman and Liam McDaid - November 26, 2014) (Free Verse poetic format)

Andrea, Thanks so much for your read here and your most gracious comments. I know that Anne-Lise was the one who first welcomed me and Liam to PoetrySoup and many others too -- and we both noticed how she's always there (not just with us), but with many of us providing all supporting comments. We felt compelled to say something on her behalf!! Best, Gary

Thanks Jan!! Ditto for me and Liam too with her welcoming us to Poetry Soup. She was the very first person to comment on my "King Vlad" poem on August 9th, which was my first posting to PoetrySoup. We noticed over time how she's such a constant supporting force for many of us and is always there to cheer one on. We thought we should capture our thoughts in this poem!! Gary

Who wlould expect such warmth from the North? Two fine poets and wonderful human beings honoring another majestic poet and equally marvelous person, a lady that deserves our admiration and love for the work she has been doing. Anne-Lise is worth praising for she is truly what you, Gary and Liam, Liam and Gary say she is. I for one, am in full agreement with you gentlemen and congratulate you on your splendid poem for a splendid poet and human being! A seven for purpose and content.

Demetrios, Wir bedanken uns sehr!! Ihr Kommentar hier ist wirklich wunderbar!! We both feel the same way, of course!! Your most wonderful words only further affirm what we tried to capture in this poem. I even have a poem I'm planning to write that is inspired by a very memorable comment she made on one of my past poems. It's great to have her with all of us -- and you too!! Alles Gute!! Gary

Thanks so much My Irish Mate and Co-Author Liam. I am sure that the "Leprechaun Choir" will sing praises of this poem and dance a nice Irish gig afterward, and then wash it all down with some Irish!! Me too!! Cheers, Gary
