Self-Portrait
Wavy lines and swirls,
In the same family of hue.
Complimentary colors;
Orange hair bound by blue.
Broad strokes of paint,
Scribbled by the brush.
With careful undertones,
His hands did not rush.
A pale face emerges,
On a lonely silhouette.
On a rolled piece of canvas,
He painted his self-portrait.
