Notes About The Poem

Self-Anoint Bliss

Self-anoint bliss, imbibing grace By making our heart pure When no earthy goals, left to chase Love alone holds allure No agenda tabled Then thus all enabled By bliss throbs we’re cradled Nothing’s amiss Self-anoint bliss 28-January-2022 Quietus

With our hearts kept pure and when love holds the supreme place there, grace will automatically descend down in abundance and we will experience self anointed bliss ! Your terse verse carries such sublime thoughts, Seeker!

Self-anoint bliss, With no Devine ashes allotted, that Wednesday, I prayed to the Lord, lit a cigarette, then put it out, took the ashes and formed a cross on my forehead and anointed myself. Your beautiful poem sparked this memory!
