Self Less

Self, behind the glass, seldom seen in shafts of sun
pondering life’s banalities, as from its gifts, you run.

Great portrayal of how one wants to escape when thoughts of inadequacy strike. The fears we face shine through perfectly in this poem :)

This is lovely, Debbie! Very profound and deep. Yes...sometimes it is easier to run, but then we miss all that warmth. Have a great weekend.

This is so human, finding that lack of self....or self confidence looking back.....or feeling rather unimportant and lacking. I think more women than men will identify with his poem.. ps....soupmail coming, Deb.
