Notes About The Poem

Self help: Painter

Awesome, I like this, Good job,
So strong, Solid grasp of shape,
Are some of the phrases people leave,
When my art helps them to escape,

From the humdrum of life on repeat,
Escape the predictable drive,
When my art allows minds to freely grow,
Rekindle, restore, and revive,

Because, my painting isn’t what eyes can see,
It’s not an everyday sight,
My painting creates from blunt little lines,
In colour from black, grey and white,

Images that become clear once relaxed,
Become what I mean them to be,
And that is a present for your mental health,
A present for you sent from me.

Your words create a beautiful moment. Such vivid images you paint indeed. I love it. :) Brandy
