Self Battling

My head is pounding
My heart is crushing
My faith is depleting
Jesus you arern't listening
All this waiting
All this praying
Feels like four hundred years of great ass whipping
Tired and worn
Broken and torn
Shattered and defeated
Jesus why does living have to be so complicated
Trails and tribulations
Wars and sorrow are all I seem now to borrow
Father forgive me
My heart is becoming hollow
Trails and tribulations are now a daily battle
Romans and Vikings
Emperors and Gods are all in my dreams
Jesus this is a crazy mind battle
Suffering and betrayal
Loneliness and bitterness
Is surely a mans greatest downfall.

Powerful penning. The angst is palpable. Well done! xomo
