Self-Destruction Short

This mess in mirror Reflects no shimmer He claims to see in her eyes While her eyes are dry now She not knows how to shake this. Yet this mischievous miss Misses herself she does not know how to change this It aches within and shakes about bubbling up her spine She sits thinking in herself sinking telling herself she's fine Showing off crooked smile she’s been broken for awhile But within herself still breaking And when she breaks her world will quake She’s collapsing cracking uh oh she's melting Disappearing she dashes she dances while melting Murky sky no more lies And here she’s lies as a puddle Finally subtle sweetly sadly sank.

Another great and inspiring poem of yours. Self-loathing is the worst of all demons we humans posses.

The illusion of peace that appears at the final melt must be very alluring or frightful to bring such joy or fear at its approach. Can't tell from the read, but do see the turmoil and final release. Very complex - thank you for the amazing journey.
