Seize the Day Carpe Diem Acrostic

S ap that flows through 
E very fibre of all the branches
I n the multitude of trees with
Z eal and vigor 
E asily will...

T ime that slowly
H overs over life
E ventually will...

D eath that lurks just
A round the corner.
Y ou know will...

C url up with a huge book
A ssist a needy cause
R ide a motorcycle on your T.V.
P lay an acoustic guitar
E xercise on a rocking horse

D ig for treasure in your attic
I nject a smile on the planet
E ntertain a child or a bunch, just
M ake sure you Seize the day (Carpe diem)

Hi. Maurice, Great job. You should have scored higher. Congratulations on your win. I took your advice and tried to ride a motorcycle on TV. My wife stopped me. She said that I was not licensed for such activity but I did find a syringe and injected the Earth with a smile. It smiled back. Have a great day. Earl

Hi Maurice Thank you so much for your wonderful , genuine feedback on my latest poems-- much appreciated. I LOVE this ACROSTIC as it is light, yet speaks to a very important philosophy of life. So much time wasted on worrying about past, and future events, we forget to live the moment with all we have. I did a Carpe Diem too a while back... same theme.. in memory of Robin Williams.
