Seeking Solace

We don't just have less
It is more we expect
We don't just get lost
It is the place we don't know

Our souls are not empty
It is the space we create
Our hearts don't bleed
It is the mind that is weeping

You don't just get hurt
Your expectations are being lowered
You are not feeling alone
It is self love that you lack

I'm not just crying out
It is my mind that I speak
Don't think I'm breaking down
This is solace I seek
