"children hope they still have pizza for lunch, having escaped the clutch of an impending death and survived an abbreviated recess" - A very dramatic depiction of a frightful event. Very intricate and suspense-filled. Congratulations!

What a shocking experience for the children. Yet in the face of threat they huddled together and sought safety in the toilet reeking with the smell of urine. Their childhood mind still fluttered at the thought of pizza waiting for them for lunch.... once they are out of danger. So powerful . Congratulations Jaymee on your first place win.
