Seeing You Again

Everywhere I go,
Wherever I look,
I'm always on guard,
I'm always watching,
Watching for you.
I'm scared of seeing you again,
After we broke things off,
I feel like you will come out of no-where,
Begging me to come back to you,
And I fear I will succumb,
I'll fall into your grasp,
And let you play with my heart,
Like you did before.
Well, never again!
I won't let you hurt me.
If I see you again,
I'll walk by,
And pretend you don't exist.
It may hurt,
And I'll be heartbroken,
But I would rather want the pain,
And except it,
Than let myself break,
Every time I see you...
