Seeing Is Easy

I liked America way back when stripes were stripes- everyone complained at the very same times, I liked it when tapes were tapes, and lakes were lakes, I remember when infinite life was just over the other-side, and flight wasn't ludicrous so long as you could deny your fire the fight, I remember how when you came home at night they never treated your vote or an event of strife, I recall how the very play on our land to grow was a sacred color red, and it was protected even by a neighbor who wasn't dissatisfied, I remember when a puddle of mud was never shallow but nutritious as it was some exuberance, I remember when it was just as useless to be feisty as a kid who gave their pledge to play out every last gig.
