Seeing Is Believing

Never have I ever seen the like Of a polar bear riding a trike Or a whale riding an elephant. Simply, in my book, irrelevant Things I know I’ll never see, Unless I pay an exorbitant fee! Like the time I paid ten dollars To see two naked giant brawlers In a sideshow at a traveling carnival Yes, I was young and stupid, pal. Which is why I am not very rich I’m taken in by every barker’s pitch And, yes, I’d probably pay to see The sordid sex life of the honeybee! Written August 31, 2022

On my walk this morning I saw an elephant who tried to use a telephant. Oh, no-no it was an elephone who tried to use a telephone. Anyway...amusing! Robert
