Secrets
Everyone has at least one of these
They come in all shapes and sizes.
Some are big; some are so small.
Some are funny, some are truly sad.
They can be hurtful to ones you love.
Maybe it can destroy a complete life.
What are the details, I do speak of,
Secrets, closely guarded, by you,
Secrets all your so-called friends know.
By way of gossip, and did you know.
As I said, everyone has at least one.
I have a secret, that I am sure many know.
I have a secret that I will take to the grave.
Some that know my secret were hurt badly.
Not physically, but with emotions so sad,
Never, shall I share my secret again.
I shall carry it in my soul, like a sin.
Secrets are like your soul, respectfully kept.
If you think, only one person knows.
Then you are a fool, because it grows.
Secrets that are yours alone; are not told,
Keep secrets in your soul and mind, so cold.
