Secret Feelings

Were we lying to ourselves? Were we careful in what we’d say? We wanted one another, And we finally met that day. I’d ask myself questions, With one chance, what’ I’d do? I’ve longed for this moment, To have my way with you. It took a lot of courage, As we reminisce upon my bed. As we speak unspoken words, Of the secret feelings in our head.

Should we speak the unspoken words? I'm not sure about what the anwser to that question is. But it is always fun to write about that i do know. This was a nice piece. congrats!

A beautiful poem with pretty conclusion. Should not the first two lines start with word 'Were' instead of was. Consider replacing the word. Thanks for your excellent comments on my poem What Am I. God Bless You.
