Secret Feelings
Were we lying to ourselves?
Were we careful in what we’d say?
We wanted one another,
And we finally met that day.
I’d ask myself questions,
With one chance, what’ I’d do?
I’ve longed for this moment,
To have my way with you.
It took a lot of courage,
As we reminisce upon my bed.
As we speak unspoken words,
Of the secret feelings in our head.
