Second Thoughts

It was a blue,blue day
So quiet,he heard a butterfly wing,
See,loook closer,a voice was to say
Even shadows,teem with life-
Slowly,he put down the knife.

A knife in a contemplating hand is a betrayal of human faith ... even butterflies live better than that ... in the net of imagination, bravo.

His second thoughts told him that life isn't so bad afterall and can see the beauty of things and the wonders of nature. This is deep and you say it beautifully. Thank you for your kind comments Brian, always appreciated.

I agree with Raul, the title is perfect for this write. This is a wonderful reminder to notice the beauty and gifts that suround us on a daily basis, even when things look the worst. Well done. Smiles from Lolita
