Second Part of Man-Hunter-Gather

Those men have been gone for days on end
I have cooked the last of the prairie hens
If they don't come back soon the food will be all gone
I have been hunting for miles on end
To see if there were some nuts, berries, or small animal's dens
Trying to gather what I can and add to the stores
Before winter comes and scarce will be the food source

Very Nice... I Remember Reading About Life on The Prarie and How The Women Had To Hold Down The Fort (Pun Intended) So To Speak... If They were Late... That Would Have Been Anxious Moments For Me... So This One Made Me Think, Sara... Good Write... MoonBee

Very interesting, Sara. Hope the men return with a bounty of food that will carry them through the winter in part three! Love, Carolyn
