Second Kisses.

tongues taste sweeter when theyre younger.
ripe at the age of seventeen,
a ruby fruit,
teeth nibbling softly,
the brush of lips,
the exchange of flavours.
torn away, watching eyes adjust again.
blinking slowly, breathing shallow,
fingers lingering over swollen mouths.
first kisses, so innocent.
second kisses, the ones i want to savour.
