Seasons of Life
Flowers unseen float above the sky this day,
They have served their world with scent and beauty
Their petals wave goodbye and hello
To summer’s glory and sturdy hues
Of Marigolds, pansies, the profusion of blossom colors
That will give way to Fall’s red and gold power,
Before it, it, too crackles and dies in
Winter’s ice,
But not in vain
As its life gives birth to lovely fragile blooms anew,
Ordered grace-full by Love
