Seasons

The heat shimmers in waves , like an ebb tide pool. The frost bites, like a cold Winters' morn. Would that those green eyes defrost, this heart , which is frozen. Could'st that embrace, warm the blood which is life. To touch those raven locks, blown on the Springs' gentle winds. Enraptured by that Alabaster skin, tanned by the Summers' warmest ends. The Seasons have come full circle, such is the Calender of Love. Yet another year is gone. If by choice, I choose, not to spend it alone. Keeping you in my heart, and holding in my arms. Come the chill of Winter, is the fire that truly warms
