Seasonal Change

The season is changing
the warm days of summer
are slipping into fall
leaves are beginning to change
from green to golden hues
the fields once again cleared
as harvest comes to an end
the days become shorter
the nights colder
flocks gather in fields
preparing for long flight 
to warmer pastures
as fall slowly creeps in.
