Notes About The Poem
Author's Note: With the Rictameter I found differing sites gave differing information regarding the first line as far as it having to be one word, but all agreed it was two syllables.
Season of Tears
She weeps
as the winds whip.
The weary woman waits,
wishing winter's wrath would weaken,
wondering when winsome weather might wake.
Then warm rains wipe her wintry wounds
as wisps of life weave tint.
Welcoming Spring,
she weeps.
