Seaside Suicide
Standing at the ledge’s edge,
Reflecting on the tide
Of sarcastic thoughts
That elastic faces hide,
The caustic threats
That only plastic mirrors heed.
Standing at the ledge’s edge,
Reflections in the mud
Of visions of existence,
Apparitions of flesh and blood
With delusions of resistance
To the mission of the blade.
