Splashing in the aqua blue sea Small children play in the warm sun Sea water’s much too cold for me So I watch them all having fun! Soon they’re digging, building so high Sandcastles reach up to the sky Super to see kids so carefree! Pleiades Poetry Contest Sponsored by Joseph May 6/6/18

Glad you enjoyed Chance, in my early days at soup I got bullied for my 'simple style' I have come a long way since I wrote my first poem when my hubby had cancer surgery and learned so so much on soup but my style won't change especially the humour:-) hugs Jan xx

mmm strawberry sorbet... I will be able to make that soon as I will have a massive crop of strawberries if all the flowers on the plants form into fruit. My raspberry canes have also gone crazy must be the lovely warm weather we have had, just need to water them a bit as we;ve had little rain which is unusual as it's the TT races and often we get wet weather:-) hugs Jan xx

The beach was always fun but I hated that sand getting "everywhere". Then add a sunburn and it becomes sand paper. A fun read, Jan. Brings back a lot of memories:)
