Seasick

There was a professor morbidly obese
A condition he was anxious to breach.
His students tried to help
By giving him kippered kelp.
Now he’s too sick to be able to teach.

Jan, when I wrote the limerick, I didn't know kelp (seaweed) helps to regulate the thyroid gland, and that thyroid imbalance can make it difficult (in some cases) to lose weight. I thought you might find that interesting. In any event, I value and appreciate every comment you make. I consider the fact you take time to read my poems (let alone comment on them) an honor.
