Searching For Gold

distant clouds of gray --
smooth brush strokes illuminate
effervescent waves

golden sands reflect
sparkling shades of jewel-kissed sky --
high tide sprays solar flares

old woman stands hunched
upon the drifting shoreline --
gray eyes search the sun
