Searching For God

We keep searching for God
Although he's everywhere 
We want to have proof
To prove he is there

Look up to the sky
The wind is his breath
He's the God of the living
The master of death

The gifter of sunshine
Feel his warmth on your face
All the trees and plant life
Rely on His grace

Listen to His laughter
When you see children play
Humanity His garden
He tends to us each day

Darlene Gifford September 18, 2014 at 6:21 AM Hello, Richard, I enjoyed your poem about the goodness of God. How true that we can see God in other people and in nature. And I especially love seeing him in sunrises and sunsets. When His light beams down at us saying good morning and good night. (like waking us up and tucking us in. ) So sorry about your attempts at entering a contest. Maybe that was my fate, too, since I thought I entered one, but I have heard zero back! Blessings!
